Video of the Day: Education Week 5 – Ft. Wayne Snider HS Big Band

This week, our Videos of the Day are featuring the local high school and college jazz bands that will be performing at IJF 2011 on the Education Stage.  Our fifth and final selection comes from the Fort Wayne Snider High School Big Band with their performance of Tom Kubis’ “Purple Porpoise Parkway”.  The Fort Wayne Snider Big Band won the chance to perform at IJF 2011 by winning big at the 2011 Ball State Jazz Festival on the strength of this very performance.

This week, our Videos of the Day are featuring the local high school and college jazz bands that will be performing at IJF 2011 on the Education Stage.  Our fourth selection comes from the Bloomington North High School Jazz Band with their performance of Thelonious Monk’s “I Mean You”.  The Bloomington North Jazz Band won the chance to perform at IJF 2011 by winning big at the 2011 Ball State Jazz Festival.
