Q: Where is Indy Jazz Fest located in 2026?
A: Indianapolis Art Center

Q: What time do gates open for the Grand Finale?
A: Gates open at 1:00 PM.
Q: Are bags and purses allowed?
A: Only clear bags no larger than 12ā x 12ā x 6ā will be permitted into the venue. All guests are subject to security screening at entry.
Q: Is this a cashless event?
A: Yes. This is a cashless event. Credit cards will be accepted at ticket tents, the merch tent, and all food vendors.
Q: Can I bring my ticket on my phone?
A: Yes! Digital tickets are accepted. Please have your QR code ready to be scanned at entry.
Q: Is the festival all-ages? Do children need a ticket?
A: Children 14 and under are free. Guests ages 15 and over require a ticket.
Q: Is re-entry allowed?
A: Yes. Please re-enter through one of the two ticket tents.
Q: Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
A: All ticket sales are final.

Q: Is seating assigned or general admission?
A: Both stages are general admission.
Q: Can I bring a blanket or chair?
A: Yes. Chairs with built-in overhead shades are not permitted, as they may obstruct the view of guests behind you.

Front-Row Main Stage Viewing
2 Complimentary Drink Tokens
Catering & Bites provided by The Jazz Kitchen
Q: Can I bring a cooler?
A: No. Coolers and outside food are not permitted.
Q: Can I bring a water bottle?
A: Each guest may bring either:
One factory-sealed water bottle, or
One empty, transparent refillable plastic water bottle
Drinking fountains for refilling empty bottles are available inside the Indianapolis Art Center.
Please note that this policy may change based on artist requests or safety considerations.
Q: Is accessible seating available?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I bring an umbrella or a pop-up tent?
A: Umbrellas are not permitted during performances, as they may block the view of guests behind you.
Pop-up tents and chairs with overhead shades are not permitted.
Q: Can I bring bug spray or sunscreen?
A: Yes, but aerosol cans are not permitted. Non-aerosol sprays, lotions, and wipes are allowed.
Q: Are pets allowed at the festival?
A: Pets are not permitted at the festival. However, trained service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA guidelines.
Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless doing so interferes with the animal's work or the guest's disability prevents the use of these devices. In those cases, the animal must remain under the guest's control through voice, signal, or other effective means.
Q: Are professional cameras or video cameras permitted?
A: Camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras are permitted.
Cameras with detachable lenses are considered professional cameras and are not allowed. Cameras with lenses that extend more than one inch from the camera are also considered professional and will not be permitted.
Please note that some artists may have additional restrictions on photography.
Q: What items are prohibited?
A: The following items are not permitted:
Weapons of any kind
Alcohol
Illegal drugs or substances
Glass containers
Cans
Coolers of any kind
Non-clear bags or bags larger than 12ā x 12ā x 6ā
Laser pointers
Animals, except service animals
Fireworks
Spiked jewelry
Chains
Drones
Tablets and Kindles
Aerosol sprays
Signs larger than 8.5" x 11" (subject to artist approval)
Frozen water bottles or flavored water

Q: Will food and drinks be available?
A: Yes! A variety of food trucks and beverage stations will be available on-site.
Q: Can I bring outside food or drinks?
A: Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of one sealed plastic water bottle per guest.
Q: Are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options available?
A: Yes. Several vendors will provide dietary-friendly options.
Q: Is alcohol served?
A: Yes. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for guests 21+. IDs will be checked at the ID Tent.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The Grand Finale is a rain-or-shine event. Please come prepared for the weather.
Q: Where is first aid located?
A: First aid services will be available on-site. Please ask a staff member or security guard if you need assistance.
Q: Is there a designated smoking area?
A: No. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in IndyParks.

Q: What time does the music start and end?
A: Music begins at 1:30 PM and the event concludes by the 10:00 PM curfew.

Q: Can I meet the artists or get autographs?
A: Meet-and-greets are not currently scheduled. Merchandise from featured artists will be available for purchase.
Q: Will there be merch?
A: Yes! Official Indy Jazz Fest and artist merchandise will be available at the Merch Tent.
